Q. Why should I register for this site?

A. To access certain portions of this site, such as Members sections and Photos, registration is required. Registered members also receive an announcements detailing upcoming events. Registration is quite easy and does not require sharing very much personal information.

Q. What are the qualifications for joining the Gay Walking Group?

A. Membership is open to anyone over the age of 18. However the vast majority of our members are either Gay or Lesbian and join to be with like minded company.

Q. Does it cost to join or participate?

A. Since We are NOT a business and no one gets paid for their contribution, membership is free. Expenses incurred for the website are covered strictly by donations made by members or our sponsors. Note that many activities require money for participation, and attendees at dinners and other events must pay their own tab.

Q. What is the age profile of the group?

A. All ages from 20's to 70's - majority are in 30's and 40's.

Q. Are there many women in the group?

A. Mostly men. Women are particularly welcome to correct this imbalance.

Q. What level of fitness is required?

A. Moderate level of fitness for slower-paced hike. High level of fitness for faster-paced hike.

Q. How do I join/register?
A. Visit Members' Area Page and click the Join page. Once you have read the Membership Rules/Requirements, click "I Agree" at the bottom of the page. Fill in the required fileds and click "join in." You will shortly thereafter receive a confirmation email.

Q. How do I change my password or make any changes to my Account?
A. While logged in, access the "Membership Details" page on the Members menu to view your account profile.

To change any of your information, simply fill in the pertinent fields. To change your password be sure to also type it into the "Confirm" field. Once you are satisfied with the changes, click on "Update," and that's it!

Q. How to I contact someone for help?
A. You may submit a request for help via the contact form on the contact us page.

Q. I've forgotten my password. How can I log in?
A. Simply click on the "Forgotten Password" button on the login page, and your new random password will be emailed to you. Then I advice use new password and click on your membership details button and change to your own password.

Q. How do I unregister from this site or stop receiving announcements?
A. Under the "Members" menu, go to "Membership details" On this page, click on the "Delete membership" option to delete your account. Note that you will no longer have access to any of the Member sections.
